Currently Reading: 'I Am The Messenger' by Markus Zusak

BLURB:
'Ed Kennedy is an underage cabdriver without much of a future. He's pathetic at playing cards, hopelessly in love with his best friend, Audrey, and utterly devoted to his coffee-drinking dog, the Doorman.
His life is one of peaceful routine and incompetence until he inadvertently stops a bank robbery. That's when the first ace arrives in the mail.
That's when Ed becomes the messenger.
Chosen to care, he makes his way through town helping and hurting (when necessary) until only one question remains: Who's behind Ed's mission?'

Most people know Markus Zusak for his amazingly popular book 'The Book Thief' which was made into a movie not too long ago. However, I have yet to read Zusak's most famous book and decided that before I read 'The Book Thief' I would like to read one of his lesser known books first.
Although I don't know much about this book I have heard nothing but fantastic reviews from others who have. For those of you who watch Booktube, Regan from the PeruseProject classed 'I Am The Messenger' as one of the most underrated books she has ever read. This is only one of the amazing reviews I have heard about this book so I am extremely excited about reading this!

So many people have read 'The Book Thief' and loved it so if you are one of the many people who loved 'The Book Thief' then maybe you should pick this book up next time you're in a book shop and see what else this author has to offer! If you're like me and want to read this book as your first by this author do the same!
